Father's Day saw Brea hosting the "Classic and Sports Car" edition of a month of car shows each sunday of June. Over 100 cars were on exhibit ranging from late model Lambo's and Ferrari exotics to the '60 Impala above
CAT was divided but not conquered! At least Three Tigers were on display at the Cobra Club Concours de Nice in Costa Mesa and five more in Brea. The Brea attendees were: Bill Graf, Kathy Kruidhoff, Chris and Cindy Thoman, Jere and Jackie Teepen, and Bonnie and Rick (me) Mueller.
Very
nice day at Brea with a decent goodie bag and T-shirt. Again we scored
a "Best in Show" award for CAT. Chris Thoman was the winner with
his Mk1 in dark blue. The best of the Tigers had to be best in show.
Specially because there was more than one best in show (?) award.
