Jun 26 - 29 Tigers United XXXI (31 for non-Romans) will be held at Big Bear Lake, California. The Northwoods Resort, 800 866-3121 for reservations, is the place. Darrell Mountjoy is the Chair and has much work done and much to do. Darrell has chosen a theme for this Tigers United, Rootes Race Cars. Darrell has commitments so far from five Tiger and two Alpine race cars including a Bonneville Sunbeam (photo above) that is planning to break 200 mph. Click here for Registration Form.

Sep 6 - 7 SAT-Sun THE BRITISH CAR MEET 2008 Sierra Point Marina * Brisbane, CA. Join us for one of the most historic British automotive events in California at our new dockside venue at the Sierra Point Marina. This is essentially the popular Palo Alto meet in a new location. Over 400 quirky, classic & thoroughly lovable British cars are once again expected to grace the lawn and adjacent parking area in Brisbane, California. We are also expecting another great display of automotive oddities provided by the Arcane Auto Society. Spectators attend & park for free. SATURDAY TOUR - SEPTEMBER 6th The British Car Meet TOUR TO THE SEA starts at the Sierra Point Marina boathouse (the same place as the Sunday Car Show) and winds through the hills to the sea. Itbs no-cost option for people who like to drive their cars as well as show them. We will be sending cars off between 9:00AM and 10:30AM. A map will be provided. The tour ends at Cameron's Pub in Half Moon Bay where we will be kicking tyres and telling tall tales in the car park well into the afternoon. SUNDAY SHOW - SEPTEMBER 7th Join your British car friends for a smashing day at the Marina. Don't have a show car? Don't worry! Daily drivers, vintage racers, street rods and works-in-progress are as welcome as Concours quality show cars. British food, jazz, & more fun than you'll be able to tolerate! Awards in many classes. There will be no preregistration - all entrants will receive a commemorative gift. Cars will be placed at 9:00AM and the fun goes on all day. The registration fee is still $25 per car at the gate. DIRECTIONS: The Brisbane Marina is lacated just east of the Bayshore Freeway (101) between San Francisco and the SF Airport/Highway 380. Sep 27 SAT Coronado Race: Membership Meeting in Tiger pits at lunch. Also join with CAT other members and racers for Dinner at 6:45p at Miguel’s in Coronado (RSVP to Buck)
Sep 27-28 SAT-Sun Coronado Speed Festival races at Navy North Island. Presented by General Racing Ltd. http://www.coronadospeedfestival.com/ There will be a Car Corrall and CAT usually secures some passes (not admission just very nice parking for vintage/club cars).
Oct 3-5 Weekend CAT-I in San Diego Fri Night some of us will meet in Escondido for Pizza in CAT hospitality suite La Quinta (subject to confirmation). Saturday a 60 to 100 mile Tailgate/Rally through canyons near Fallbrook and west. Rally will terminate at the Wildgoose Estate for a BBQ Saturday afternoon. Sunday CAT I participants may enter the San Diego British car show Baker Field before heading home. Check with us for registration details and costs. All Members are welcome to participate in all or any parts of this weekend event. Costs have not been determined. Save the date and stay tuned.
