This meeting was somewhat of a secret as the only notice was on the WWW. March / April TT was mailed 2 days after the meeting. Oh well.
Most of the board members were
there as were a few of the general membership. Notable was Al Denson
who showed off his grrreat new restoration completed in January this
year. Al is known for his succesfull efforts in VARA with a vintage
racing Tiger. Not surprisingly his street Tiger is pretty far from
stock. No bumpers, 2 oil coolers and a roll bar ready for competition.

Kathy brought along samples of the new Edelbrock Tiger shocks CAT has added to the Parts List at a low $250 per set. These shocks incorporate the IAS technology Edelbrock uses in its performance shock absorbers. The fit and effectiveness was tested on Sunbeams by Tom McDaniel and Jere Teepen. Their only regret was they had to return the prototypes. CAT is currently the only source for the Tiger Edelbrocks.
