More importantly 6 Sunbeams were in the show. More than last year and at least a few more CAT Members were there for an hour or more cruising the show. Your web dude had family duties but managed to drop by and take some snaps for your pleasure here. The location the cars were displayed was great bringing lots of people traffic to discover and enjoy the fabulous Ford powered Tigers.
Biggest surprise for me was the wild and very professional home brewed port injection system Paul Parretti has built and installed on his Mk1. The billet throttle body sits on an Edelbrock Air Gap? single plane manifold with the fuel rail tucked under the raised plenum. The injectors squirt into the manifold runners just above the ports. The electronics which measure and time the fuel also controls the 4 coil distributerless ignition! The air filter is a dual element low profile B&M product and exhaust is via CAT Club headers Sterling coated by Jet-Hot. Well done Paul.
The engine? in between all this exotica is a stock and well run 260. Paul will further develop the F.I. system on the stock motor and up the ante with a 302 in the future.
First Tiger on the left belongs to Paul and Cindy Parretti. Then Ann and Colin Hook. (License LA TIGER). That last red one belongs to Bill and Maria Graf.
As
I said last year, Some local CAT Members are by subscription only but we
have others that participate to the maximum. Committed CAT Members
Kathy Kruidhoff, Paul Parretti, Bill Graf, Chris Thoman, Ann and
Colin Hook and Bob Shield were showing their cars and having a great time.
I hope you can come out and join them next year.
