CAT California Association of Sunbeam Tiger Owners

The Autocross was chaired by Stan Clark and John Peterson.  In spite of the constraints of space, they did an admirable job of setting up a safe, challenging and fun course.  The South Lake Tahoe Airport was the location and the course was set up on the main parallel taxi way next to the runway.  This wide taxi way made for a long narrow course with a tight 180 degree turn at the far end.  The pit area was separated by a hundred yards of narrow taxi way and there was an access road next to the course on a berm 50 feet high which was ideal for spectating.
