CAT California Association of Sunbeam Tiger Owners

The Rally was chaired by Rob and Jennifer Guerra.  The Rally was simple to follow navigation with a large number of questions to answer regarding signage and landmarks along the way.  Although mileage/time out and in were recorded they were of no importance this time.  Winners Patrick and Kelly King were out long enough to cover the course twice (4 Hours +). They got the most answers right and did some shopping along the way.  Is it fair to return with gifts?  Yes if the "garment" is Tiger striped.

The route included some time on busy Route 50 in South Lake Tahoe but most of the mileage was excellent mountain roads just perfect for Tigers on the prowl.   88, 89, Immigrant Rd. NV 206, NV 207 up the Kingsbury Grade formed a loop bringing rallyists back to Stateline and the Holiday Inn just across the California line.  I apologize for the photos because we missed the start.  The events of the 20th were changed when it became clear that the autograph sessions were not going to happen in the morning and the 11:00 am start was moved up to like now which was between 8 and 9.  When I arrived to take some photos of the cars lined up to go, many had finished.  Sorry but I could not get pictures of other contestants and such, we did not see any.
