CAT Hosted another Driver Education/Practice Autocross at Long Beach City College. I came out at lunch time so I missed a lot but did get these photos during the afternoon "Fun Runs".

I had forgotten the day so instead at that very time I was laying under my car squeezing gear oil from a little oil can into the gearbox. Lets see now, a 6 oz oil can taking about 60 handle squeezes to empty itself of the 6 oz transfering 60 ounces of 90wt oil, not to mention crawling out from under car to refill the 6 ounce can 10 times. Thats approx 600 trigger pulls and 10 crawls in and out vs driving an autox course.

Poor choice on my part but I've got the cleanest gearbox in the club for a bit anyway.

I love how Steve's Alpine is "relieving" itself around the hard left-hander. Who tech'd that thing, by the way?

Looking forward to the next one.

That is the correct form for an Alpine 'power slide'. In a Tiger you do it with V-8 power to the ground. In an Alpine, you put liquid on the ground;)
