A big day for fans of the SAAC as Cobras, Shelby GTXXX, Tigers, Panteras and dozens of Mustangs old and new came out to Woodley Park. Mr. Shelby himself was there to help in honoring 40 or so employees of Shelby American back in the glory days of building some of the most coveted cars in the collector car world. We did not see Jay Leno but he was there too.
Eight Tigers were lined up under the partial shade and several members were present for the monthly meeting. Not much business conducted but lots of bench racing and updates on current improvements. And as always answering questions about the Tiger. Bill and Maria Graf placed first Tiger with Dennis and Carol Mancini second. Third went to Rick and Bonnie Mueller with Tiger Blue. All classes were by popular vote. "CAT Kicks A!@%" says Tom Duncan after picking up his Pantera class trophy and another CAT member Darrell Mountjoy won the 289 Cobra class.
