Santa
was helped by the CHP and CAT on Dec 4th. Eleven Tigers and a few
other CAT member's cars and trucks with elves and toys, dolls and games
were escorted by the highway Patrol to the Speedzone. With Chippies
leading with full lights and an occasional blast of the siren the group
made an awesome sight and sound accelerating onto the freeway. Again
Bill Graf gets full credit for organizing the escort. New member
Jim Black came out and participated in his first CAT event with Rick &
Bonnie Mueller, Chris Thoman, Phil & Sue Cohen, Gene and Trisha Heisser,
Dennis and Carol Mancini, Chuck Daly, the Paretti family, the Teepen family,
Sue Kessler, Colin and Ann Hook and Bill and Maria Graf. Apologies
to the others I have overlooked here. There were many more!
As you can see from the photos it was a perfect December day and all arrived
and drove top down!!
The
CHP collects the toys for distribution to kids who really get a kick out
of Santa showing up in a Highway Patrol Cruiser.
