Air filter base work

Trying to get the air filter as low as possible, and have more selection of hood scoops I decided to hack up something to help. Started with a flat piece of aluminum and used that as a new base to mount on the carb. Then chopped up a low cost Spectre 9" filter base removing the flange, all so I can have a nice way to hold the filter in place. Some grinding, cutting and sanding, a bunch of pop rivets and about done. Got a bit more room, and can likely run the 3" K&N filter with the filter lid.
