I see lots of choices in new gear sets to fit the Dana 44. I am after 3.31 and 3.07 sets
Most, if not all, are 10 bolt x 26 spline
I understand that the stock Tiger 7/16 Vs USA common 3/8 gear bolt diameter can be overcome with either sleeves or Jag stepped "conversion bolts", but is the Tiger a 10 or 26 spline pinion?
IIRC it is 10 splice?
I see a Dana Spicer 26 spline "companion flange" for Jags - PN 2-1-2391 plus the flange yoke 2-2-239
Our Salisbury rear end is the same as several models of Jag

Is this how one fits a modern gear set in our rear ends?
Is there a better solution when using a 26 spline pinion
