Fan Belt for Reduced Diameter Fan Pulley

Hi All

I am down for the next several days with some medical issues, but I am confident I can get the misalignment of the generator and fan pulleys (as explained in my previous thread) squared away.

Assuming that I do, do I need a smaller fan belt for use with the reduced fan pulley, or is there enough play in the generator bracket to tighten up the existing belt?

If a smaller belt is needed, anybody know which one? Source?

Thanks, Jim

The larger or smaller pulleys should adjust just fine with your existing belt. If not, the NAPA (and other) suppliers will measure your belt and have 1" plus/minus options available in the correct width. The debate still continues about "notched" belts however.
