First heard about sunbeams from my a ex school teacher who drove a 289 mustang. I first started looking for tigers in 1983, and found one in hemmings motor news for $2500, it needed work, but was drivable. Flew from Michigan to the Atlanta Georgia airport. The P.O. said he would be in the airport bar and would be wearing a cobra tee shirt. No problem finding him, so we went to the parking lot to look at the car. Car was far from perfect, but it ran good so I bought it. On the trip back to Michigan got a ticket from a trooper for no rear bumper or plate. He had a brother in law that had a tiger, so he sent me on my way. Stopped in Benton Harbor Mi purchaced a personalized plate that read TI 1965. No more problems going home the car ran great. I still have that plate on the front of my car. Kevin
