CAT is the world's largest Sunbeam Tiger club. It was founded a half century ago and is dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of the Sunbeam Tiger sports car. Members receive a bi-monthly newsletter and have the ability to buy unique discounted Tiger parts from the club's own Parts Department. Many Alpine owners take advantage of CAT parts as well.
CAT's name is a bit of a misnomer. The California Association of Sunbeam Tiger Owners is much more than just a California club. Although CAT is based in Southern California only 1/4 of its members are located there. CAT has world-wide membership with members from Scandinavia to South Africa, from Australia to South America.
This Forum is sponsored by CAT as a service to the entire Tiger marques. Anyone can read or search this forum. Registration (which merely requires furnishing an email address and picking a user name and password) does not require CAT membership. Registrants can post in almost all sections of the forum. (major exception: the "Marketplace")
CAT members are able to post in the "Marketplace" and also view a special Forum section.
CAT and the bay area STOA club alternate hosting "Tigers United", a west coast gathering of Tigers each summer. Both clubs are active in efforts to preserve Tiger heritage by supporting the Rootes Archive Centre Trust in the UK as well as the TAC program here in the US.
CAT Membership also gives mail bi-monthly delivery of the club's newsletter, Tiger Tales. US member dues are $45 per year.
