Hi Rick,

This is Dan from Texas. Thought I would drop you a line to let you know what's going on with my new Tiger project. Got the engine up and running. Sounds GRRRRREAT.PRRRRS. Engine had been modified in the mid 70's with a FOMOCO Dual point distributor, solid lifter cam, Holley 500CFM 2BBL, headers and oil filter modification. Have had to go through the hydraulics,
the cooling system and fuel system to get the car up and running but it has been well worth it. The paint just needed cleaning up to shine but it will need to be repainted someday soon. The spare tire is the original spare and looks as if it has never touched the ground. All the original tools are still in the trunk. Will need to repair the hard top and replace the soft top. The original soft top according to its previous owner had never been
out of its storage. After pulling it out I believe him. It's original owner still had the original wheels and hub caps along with the original carb, oil filter parts, exhaust manifolds, valve covers, headlights and tonneau. I
will need to find an air cleaner housing and a brake servo. He also gave me the original steering wheel but the plastic hub around the center is broken. Wonder if you or any one knows some one who can restore it? The car has Koni shocks and weld on traction bars as well. I have most of the original paperwork from the vehicle including the original envelope that Larry Reed Sports Cars used to put the paperwork in when they gave it to the original owner. I found the original handbook and the original warrenty/service book hand signed Larry Reeds Sports Cars. Got to go, but I have to tell you I really enjoy the Tiger Tales. Keep up the good work. Thanks everyone at CAT for their hard work, we appreciate it out here in Texas.

DAN EILAND

PS Will send some updated photos soon.

Saw your car on the net; looks great. Can't wait till I get mine looking as good. Looking for restoration tips. Right now I need to know how to clean the suspension parts and prepare them to be repainted. I bought "The Book of
NORMAN" and was very happy with what I got. This will be a big help in restoring my car.
