FYI: I generally talk owners into removing them when I find them on projects. Lug nut threading is considerably reduced by 3 - 4 turns making the wheels much less secure to the hubs. 2 - cents
I have some .. I didn't use them for the reason randy stated... Especially with wheels like panasports that have a thick hub .. If you want to use them install longer wheel studs
I understand about the thread engagement and agree. I do have longer stud in the rear and spacers will not reduce thread engagement as the studs current protrude from the lug nuts by at least 3/8s of an inch.
