Hello Tiger owners! I am inviting local Tiger owners to participate in a fun event I am organizing on March 3. I am ready to reserve 5-10 spaces for Tiger owners for the car show and as many as are interested for the following road trip and lunch venue. Hope you can make it. Here are the details...

2-Seaters Powered by Ford Event

Saturday, March 3

This event will begin with a car show at Cars & Coffee. I reserved the corral for 45 vehicles to include Pantera, Ford GT/GT40, Shelby Cobra, Daytona, Sunbeam Tiger, and ’55-57 Thunderbird owners. Sign-ups are in process for those who want to participate in the car show. Following the show will be a road trip ending at Pacific Whey Cafe at Crystal Cove for lunch.

You are welcome to participate in the car show, road trip, lunch or any of the three!

What: "2-Seaters Powered by Ford" Cars & Coffee meet + road trip + lunch
When: Saturday, March 3, 2012
Where: Cars & Coffee, Irvine
Time: 6-7:00 am for the show; 9:30 am for the road trip, 11:15 for lunch
Who: Pantera, Ford GT/GT40, Daytona, Shelby Cobra, Sunbeam Tiger, & ’55-57 T-bird cars
Why: Fun, socializing, and driving our awesome cars!

Car Show
• Arrive between 6-7:00 am (ideal time is at or before 6:30 am)
• We will occupy the corral area (immediately to the right upon entering the show lot driveway)
• 7905 Gateway Blvd., Irvine (next to Mazda building)
• Contact me to reserve a spot

Road Trip
• Departs C&C corral lot by 9:30 am
• 56-mile route to include Santiago Canyon Road, Live Oak Canyon Road, a visit to Oakley’s Headquarters, and 133 to Laguna Beach
• If you don’t have a qualifying car but still want to join the road trip, you are more than welcome but will follow from the rear of the caravan

Lunch
• Pacific Whey Café
• 7962 East Pacific Coast Highway, Newport Beach (Crystal Cove Promenade shopping center)
• Expected arrival approx. 11:15 am

wow--sounds like a very fun event. I might have to try something like this up here with our eurosunday events.

Hello Tiger Owners,

Just a quick update that I still have plenty of reserved parking for this fun event on March 3rd at the famous Irvine Cars & Coffee. To date, I have 25+ Panteras, Ford GT/GT40, Cobra, T-Bird, and a couple of Tiger owners who have confirmed. People tend to reply within the last two weeks, so contact me to reserve your place. It would be nice to have a half dozen or so Tigers participate. Thanks!

Event update

I still have plenty of reserved parking available. So far, over 25 Pantera, Ford GT40, Cobra, T-bird and Tiger vehicles will be attending. We even have a Mangusta- quite a rare vehicle. It would be nice to see a handful of Tigers participate. Please contact me to attend. I am forecasting a perfect day come March 3, the last Saturday before daylight saving time begins.
