Don't you just hate seeing Christmas decorations going up in the stores and it is still September? Well, not to add to your aggravation, but thought we'd let you know the date of the Annual CAT Holiday Party now, so you can mark it down in your calendar. It will be Sunday, December 7, at El Cholo Restaurant, 840 E. Whittier Blvd., La Habra. Festivities will start at 6:00 pm. We will be on the covered and heated patio and have it until 9:00 p.m. Dinner will be a “taco bar” and enchiladas. Non-alcoholic beverages and dessert (which we will provide) are included. Alcoholic beverages will be available, but are not included. The price is not yet confirmed with the restaurant, but is expected to be in the $25 range. Feel free to bring the usual CAT type gifts (totally optional) for raffle prizes, but there is no formal gift exchange. The restaurant has ample parking out back, but there will not be any areas set aside for Tigers. Since the patio holds only 40 folks, please RSVP Bill Graf at (626) 330-3512 or drop him an e-mail at wfgraf@gmail.com.

CAT Holiday Dinner

Only a couple days left 'til the annual CAT Christmas Dinner/Party. There's still room at the inn . . . so come on out for some fun and a good dinner.

Confirmed we will be having a make ur own taco bar with enchiladas and dessert. Non-alcoholic drinks included, you can get "likker" on ur own dime. Cost per person is $25.00 including tax/tip . . . and we'll be having one of Steve Alcala's great presentations at no additional charge.

If you plan on attending, please RSVP to Bill Graf (626-330-3512) by Saturday so we can make sure of enough seating. You can also reach me the night of the event on my cell (626-664-2686) if you need.

CAT dinner

Thanks to Bill and Maria and all who helped arrange the CAT dinner, the food

was good, the Steve A. slide (yes, 35mm old school) show was interesting

even for the non-car obsessed people, and my wife and I went 2 for 2 with the

door prizes.

All in all about as good as it gets.

Bob J.
