40 ish

With tax and lic. looks a little house paint like. What was code 53 Wedgewood blue? Clearly a car I could park next too and not feel like dem po folk :D
Looks like the PO had his priorities straight with the portable cooler in the back for a cold beverage.

Look at the names of the TAC guys

Can you guys pull a few pics when you post these....

Man that one you sent me in Temecula gone in hours at 18,000 for a roller wish I would have copied em when I saw them .

SOLD. To the newbie. Hi guys, look forward to joining this illustrious group and peppering you all with way too many questions. Best, Michael

Michael - congratulation, enjoy your new car. Doug

Thanks Kevin, Doug and Lee, couldn't be more thrilled. I do have plans for this old gal. So let me start off with the first of many dumb questions: now that I am an owner, how do I insert the car at the bottom of my posts? Thanks and best, Michael

Edit signature. Hope you know it's my nature to tease the cars in the absence of a owner. May be pretty undervalued as I heard a K code motor sold for the price of a crate motor.

Thanks, Warren, and no prob on the teasing so long as I can tease you back ;-)
That paint is going to go anyway! Cheers.

Car looks like a good start... Drive it and enjoy it... Find out all its little quirks so when you do take it off the road to do some work you can sort them while you have things apart.

Might also be worth getting 15" wheels for the front to natch the rears.

Congratulations on your new purchase. Looks like a great driver, enjoy the car. Where is the car going?

Venice

That is two this week going to Venice. So I will get to park next to it soon, just on other side of LAX from me.:D

Yup, she's going to Venice. Plan is to take M-K's advice and drive her around a bit, figure out the trouble spots and then do a complete makeover. Car comes with a new front end performance rebuild kit and a host of other goodies (new hoses, Jaeger guages etc...). While Wedgewood Blue isn't my fave, I did find one example on Google that tweaked the color so it wasn't so flat and drab and it was really beautiful. All advice most welcome!

Wedgewood Blue

When I talked with Norm, he said it was kind of a rare color for Tigers. I will keep mine and if I stayed in Cali, I would be close by in Ventura County.

Have fun with it. Just plopped the engine/transmission in mine this past weekend. Missed it's 50th, but will bring her back to life after a 30 yr Rip Van Winkle this summer.

I kinda like the Wedgewood Blue especially since that's the color it was born with. I like the idea that it's not to common and that a lot of these Wedgewood Blue cars were painted a different color. I am keeping color #53.

Now about the original vinyl dash - not so sure:)
