64 Tiger Mk1 For Sale in Oakland, Ca

The price is all over the place.
I've seen this car on CL (Alameda/SF Bay Area) on 11/6/13 for $30K, then again listed in CL (Oakland East/SF Bay Area) on 11/23/13 for $25,000, a week later it was on CL again at $29,000. Now on CL for $33,000, see post: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/4240118298.html .

It was also recently listed on Hemmings for $39,000, see post:

Based on limited pics (1or2), looks nice, but no details known, only that the early CL listings indicated it has 96k miles and needs work/TLC.
Might be someones next ride.

Called back

When listed at 25 rec'd a call back on voice mail saying that "His friend was working on it that weekend and please check back Monday for status. Figuring this was way too far away I fwd, the ad to DD he got no response either but we both soon saw the upped price.

Figuring this was deep in the land of the S.T.O.A. figured the friend was one of them or possibly one of their own on a fishing expedition after a big period of in activity. I did not ask for more pics as he ratcheted up the price
When I first replied to this it came back invalid thread.

I am guessing it was a running when parked but now stuck brakes and who knows what else project. All the ones I have seen have seemed to have been attacked by a lawn chair or bicycle like my car, garages can be hazardous places.

Things seem to go active to searches with in 30 minutes or so unless you are using a smart phone app like I do which works really well but has 1.5 or so lag time.
