Looking at the fuel cell and the louvered bonnet it looks like the car that got use din a few scam auctions...
Seems to be a really sweet ride... the fuel cell on anotherwsie quite stoick car is a bit akward... but easily removable....

"get fooled again" Who?.
This is a strange one ... How to turn a Tiger into a Alpine? Ok It's a late 65 Tiger .. crossover body.. prior to MK1A..Square edged doors and hood are correct .. with Sunbeam letters on the nose section .. the hood bins are correct as are the inner door trims. All seems OK.... All of these changes were done by Rootes to cut down Tooling costs.... The MK1A had no Sunbeam letters and the hood bins were deleted ... all to save cost ... you could say that the MK11 was the Ultimate cost cutter ... a cheap version of the MK1....
However this car has a Battery Box .... Hmmm ... but look in the "Trunk" .. where is he going to fit a Battery.. with that Fuel Tank?... So he put a Alpine box In ..... daffy duck...
If I did not believe it... I would have laughed... On first sight.. I would have said Alpine .......!
