Aftermarket Alternator bracket

Paul Riesentz (spelling) a Tiger restoration shop in California had them, he has listing on his web site, and is listed in vedor information on several Tiger web sites (I do not have the onformation in front of me).

I just got one from Paul Reisentz, 408 309 9624. His are billet aluminum style and very reasonably priced. If you're looking for a concours exact replica you'll need to order one of the expensive ones. I was very happy with the appearance and fit of the one I got. He also sold me a wiring kit that makes the alternator conversion easy, however, if you have a MKII that originally had an alternator you might not need that.

Bob,

In this hobby you are going to find basically two groups..The guys that just want it to work and the guys that really restore cars with correct parts. So you need to be more specific in your quest for parts. Guys are poping fiberglass air cleaners and the list goes on and on but to really replicate correct parts
takes some expensive tooling and the production runs are quite small so the correct parts are indeed more expensive. IT just depends on what you want.
Mark II's are quite rare and drive the market price so those are not something
to be cheap about...but hey what do I know I have only been in this car hobby 50 years....

Paul Paretti sells the Alternator Brackets. His number is in the CAT Roster.

I think CAT parts used to sell them as well. You might want to give them a call or send an email.

Well of course i want the original items as long as they are able to be a quired. I am however not a guy that will turn this into a 2-10 year project so if i have to put a aluminum alt bracket on to finish and drive the car then so be it but i will buy the original if one arises. I mean lets face it a couple of bolts to change the bracket or a nut on the air cleaner isn't a deal breaker. Thanks for all the help guys i really appreciate it.
p.s. if any of the hoarders would like to come off the original alt bracket, air cleaner or shifter im ready to buy. Thanks
