I am wondering if there is anyone near enough to the Beverly Hills Car Club to go look at an Alpine for me?
I would like to know exactly what the Blue 1967 Alpine looks like, especially how solid the body and chassis is.
If you are able to put hands and eyes on this car for me please PM me and we can talk. Thanks and have a great day.

Close to CSULA

Slightly East of Downtown LA, if it was really Beverly Hills it would be a fun trip. They still have the white Tiger that came from the Midwest with the big angle biting exhausts for 26,500

I'm an hour away. There is a nice Alpine on eBay I have seen that car in person the one with the Silverstone wheels.

Thank you Warren. I have been waiting for someone closer to reply. I see 191 reads so far and I am quite surprised that NOBODY, except Warren, has made a comment, offer, PM'ed me or anything. I live in MN and am not close enough to just trot on over to this place and look at a possible good chassis/body. Is there not one single person near this dealer willing to offer any sort of input?

Appraiser?

You could hire a local auto appraiser to give a report on it. I had it done a couple years ago for $200.

Hey Big Mike, thanks for the reply.
I know about local appraisers, and I too have used one in the past with very poor results...which really stunk in the end. I asked here because I figured there may be someone near this place. I also asked here because the people willing to go would probably know what to look for concerning Sunbeam specific areas rather than an appraiser used to looking a muscle cars and restored classics. Having looked at a few cars on line from this place I get a feeling they may not outright lie, but they also don't tell you anything unless you ask specifically. This makes my long distance assessment a so-so guess at best.
I appreciate the suggestion just the same and hope you have a great day.

I have found that Facetime works well as a video meeting with realtime viewing of a Car. Also, you might look at the CAT roster and contact a CAT member close to them.

Address?

You might also want to put the address into your request. There are many car sales locations in the LA area. Without the address, folks may not know if they are close or not.
