.....when I went to fill master after I was done, there was a round disc floating in the master. It's the same plastic as the reservoir but does not fit to the inside of the cap. I had the cap off prior to fill it and never noticed this before. Any ideas?

Inside the cap is a plastic (same color as the plastic reservoir) disc that snaps into place to hold the black rubber lid gasket into place.

That's my best guess if I'm understanding what you described.

Hi PITT40,
the plastic disc that you found inside you reservoir is the disc that holds the rubber seal into the cap.
Is the rubber seal,it is flat, still in the cap.?
If so the disc just "Snaps" into the lid and traps the seal.

Could be a moisture barrier that is supposed to move with the fluid level...never had one and never seen one, but I know guys who use them...
