If you look at the latest ad in 'Cars for Sale' and click on the 'Hemmings' link that he's provided, there is an excellent picture of the trunk. I can't say for sure that the side brackets are correct but from the outstanding overall quality of the car, it wouldn't surprise me that they are...

brackets

many of the brackets were black. they were an item that had to adjusted for final fit after the trunk rubber was fitted. i have a couple original trunks with the brackets painted black.

Bryan,

Thinking back.. the tiger probably has a black finish on the brackets the same as the other various brackets on the car.. i think the body coloured ones i had seen might have been early sunbeams, as in SI/IIalpines, the tigers are likely to be the black as i think they changed ot that during S3/IV alpine

Bryan,
The brackets (adjustable stop with the little rubber bumpers) are painted semi-gloss or satin black. The ones below the platform that the platform sits on have the goldish plating on them, very similar to the plating generally found on grade 8 bolts. I'm sure you know that Sunbeam Specialties has the little rubber bumpers, Part #TT55 at $1.90 each.
