I am in the process of submitting a CA DMV INF70 form for my Tiger and I was wondering for those who have submitted the form what you used as the reason for the request in SECTION D - Purpose of Request -"Permissible Use"?

I typed in "Legitimate Business Section D" and received mine. Check your government instructions and folow to the letter. The info they sent me only went back to 1975 . They have older records. Try to owe the gov money and see how far they can go!! Did anyone know a Nancy Joann Zapor? She owned it from 1975 to 1991? hijack over

Historical

interest. At 6 bucks it's the only bargain to be found in Sacramento:eek::eek:

Pops, put on the E detective hat, Google stalk her and the other owners.

Rolling Hills, Palos Verdes, Hawthorne, etc

CAT neighborhoods...

Scary what one can easily find, without the $6... ;-(

I typed

Historical not Hysterical interest. You can opt out on the roster, but not on Google. All your cars are better than mine D.D. but maybe not your garage:)

INF70 purpose

what is the purpose of this form?

You can use this form to determine previous owners of a vehicle registered in CA based on license plate number or VIN.

I know some of the previous owners but would like to know back to original owner if possible.

Only shows

Persons who, actually titled vehicle in their name . For time if a vehicle was not registered , and a non op was filed, that was the only way to avoid registration fees .
But back then you actually had to pay no op fee every year. It was changed at least 20 years ago years ago to the current one pay non op.

There was a time when California cars actually dropped off the computer system cuz they had too many cars and two little data space Ca. then they had a realization , that they were loosing $.
