CAT will be holding its March meeting and Fix-in at the Bud Williams shop on Saturday March 22. It will start at 8:30am and we will have the meeting around noon.

Bud's shop is at 2950 E. Coronado St., Anaheim, CA 92806.

Bring your Tiger or Alpine, and it will leave in better shape than it arrived. The CAT Fix-In is a mutual self-help diagnostic and repair session, with expertise provided by experienced Tiger owners using Bud’s fabulous shop. And back by popular demand, we will focus on some specific tuning, maintenance and upgrade procedures including alignment, air/fuel ratio measurement and tuning.

Special guest Dan Walters will conduct a clinic on how-to install his renowned torque arm. Monthly member meeting will follow and we promise to make it short and sweet. You and your Sunbeam will be glad you came.

Lunch

TAC service, Torque ARM install , O2 sensor analysis, for members and guests. Water bottles to wash down the sandwich, BYOB, I mean Grey Pupon or pop.

Looks Like a Nice Day for Tigering

Here is the Anaheim weather forecast, from Weather.gov for Saturday:

Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 67. Light and variable wind becoming southwest 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

A couple of days ago, the forecast had a slight chance of drizzle, so it looks like we are still in dry mode.

:)

Great Meet

Several cars got their alignment checked, the air fuel ratio, a Torque arm install. There was fresh cars to view Lee's new/old toy and a barn, or more like pigeon coop I mean poop find that came in on a trailer. The poopy car:) can in while meeting was in happening did anyone get pics 30 years dormant with the birds. Thanks to akkl all especially Paul P. who collected lunch.

Fix in

While our most prolific photographers were together driving around the block in a red mk2 I snapped one pathetic phone picture of Dan installing his torque arm.

I am glad I didn't have to wash all that poop off my barn find. Thanks for putting on this great event and thanks to the TAC team for passing my car. Lee

I Wish

While our most prolific photographers were together driving around the block in a red mk2 I snapped one pathetic phone picture of Dan installing his torque arm.

Most of the time, we were trying to get the O2 analyzer to work with my pathetically small - but stock - exhaust pipes. Thanks for posting the photo, Bob. Here are some that I was able to take. There were a lot of cars coming and going, but I was only able to take parking lot photos early on, before everyone showed up.

Thanks go out to Buck for the use of some of his instruments, to Mike Michaels for doing the O2 work, and to hard-working Dan McMedan and Bob Josten for taking the measurements for toe in, camber, and caster. Also, it was terrific for Dan Walters to work with Lee to show how to install his torque arm (only to have to remove it).

Power Steering ?

So that is Dale and Bob playing with a electric assisted power steering unit?

Lee, bully that he is got to the event 30 min early. It was his first time to get under car. It barely got a parking lot lift n peek without jack stands on his pre purchase inspection. His car is way more interesting than mine.

I think the only job a director has is to help in w/e way to make for a good show. As I am so capable of doing I may have bruised a few on the way to the set up of the install. but know it was for the entertainment factor and nobody got upset cause my car dripped on them.
