Wanted Cigar Lighter

The only place I have found one has been eBay UK or look for a Jaguar E-Type with a casco element.. there are guys on eBay who will sell you things and claim that it has the right knob but you don't only have to have the right knob You have to have the right washer and it needs to be a Casco. Be sure I put a picture up in an album here on the forum. The 71 to 73 Jensen roadsters have the same knob but not the same reverse washer.

PS there's a PDF on SAOCA if you are the crafty type and can cut down a windshield washer knob and make the escutcheon..
 
Jaguar series I xke, mkii and s-type used the casco with the chrome chamfered edge collar. Also iirc lamborghini miura and fiat 850 spider.... That said... Search that and price may go up :p
 
I have 2 originals-also with receiver- elements have been used but are in excellent condition

Based on this discussion, I bought this lighter from SNG Barrett. It cost $42. It looks authentic to me, however, I don't own an original. What do you professionals think?

Very nice and very subtle differences. For what the professionals think we'll have to wait. ;)
