Crossmember bolt

in process of putting my motor in I found that some previous hack had lost one of the crossmember bolts. Does anyone have one they could sell me? It would be greatly appreciated.

First, poke around inside the X-member with your flexible magnet which is where they usually end up. Next, they are a standard Grade 8 bolt; 1/2" x 20 tpi (fine threaded) X 3-1/4" long. The threaded portion is 1-5/8" as is the shoulder length. Both the bolt and the fat washer can be had at any good hardware or Fastenall store. If you use a 3-1/2" bolt, make sure to turn the threads down to leave a 1-5/8" shoulder. amen
 
Hmm, I was pretty sure these are a British thread. Not quite the same as what we find at a hardware store.

there have been a lot of discussions over the years and they always end the same . many say the one seat bolt is supposed to be the only british thread on the car. ???????????????
