Dzus fasteners

The repop false floors in the boot come with nothing installed. I have a set out of a original false floor. The parts that mount thru the plywood are a lot like brass grommets, but aluminum. I'm guessing it'll take some kind of crimping tool and some the proper centers . There looks to be a split ring that prevents the male part from coming out.

Seen some on Summit and ePay but not a proper replacement.
Ideas?

Repop Incomplete ??

The recent RePop we had from Rick was complete with all the fittings. Rick has the crimp tool (he won't lend me so I can make a copy, the brat). He also has the Dzus w/rings.

Got a 1990 model in 2011 that came with receipts. Most recently got another in the box with the receipt. Both even if you add a couple zero's to a 90 day return policy I'm probably still out of luck. I was starting to think it was a made to fit the car item as they all are a little different.

Thanks for the response Randy I will call Rick on the clamping tool. It can't be much more than a tarp grommet tool like you'd find at the Northern Tool and supply in your neck of the woods. Me I might have to go West Marine or find a Grainger or go online .

Cutting the vinyl must be done with a special tool as well possibly a die type punch.

Maybe I'll just turn up the tunes when going over speed bumps as that is what bothers me the most the flapping of the panel :)

It is similar to grommet punch but you have to form the grommet with the male Dzus in the hole. The grommet closes down and retains the "bolt"
