Ebay a Sellers - know your Neighborhood

Dear fellow CAT members. I sell on eBay now and then, listing parts I don't need and other collectibles, raising "mad money" so I can in turn, buy parts I needs for my projects, or friends that don't do computer. I don't keep extras and I'm on the other end of the spectrum from the hoarder. I generally start my auctions very low, and never use a reserve, as I beleive market value plus and will always be found on fleabay.

I don't hide behind my username and always appreciate a seller who lists a phone number for questions. I generally don't in fear I may end up on a spam list for texts.

Paul, just so I understand the people below who you mentioned are "decent honorable" eBayer's like yourself? Or ones we should be concerned about?

As I said, I'm not rating them. There are some great sellers in the group mentioned, fantastic sellers even, and maybe to some there may be some not so good. I think if you have a question about a seller, you should contact the club members and ask for personal experience on A private level. Those are just names I know by heart.

Ebay sellers

I too sell on E bay although haven't sold any Sunbeam items yet.
I did have some items listed last year (no sale). I have also bought from
Cat members here that I recognized either by name or by what they were selling and have no complaints. I use my same user name as on here, but
not for any special reason. Sure it's nice to know who your buying
from for piece of mind, but for sure we sometimes spend more buying
because we don't know others that are bidding. Kevin

I was Bikedude57 and sold lots of collectable stuff. Bold type to me always looks like someone is shouting.

I would like it if things were clearer, as I get the impression with the big font there is a problem.

Anyone who finds this objectionable should contact me or one of co workers.

I do not care for using eBay any more and have a like/hate relationship with it. My last name was removed as I do not care for my name being scooped and search engined. If that was my style I would open my world to facebook .

Paul and I swap bits from time to time out of eBay and he gets the, fratelli, home boy, bro, price on anything I ever sell

I was hoping that a list like this would only be of sellers that you would recommend; and not just outing eBay sellers.

This hopefully will not degenerate into a bash list or used a marketplace alternative.

Maybe think of it as a easy way to work around eBay and their self protective policies and retention of their 10% and Paypay 2.9% masked as keeping you safe from outside eBay transactions.

A lot of guys already use the same eBay handle as CAT ,

Oh "handle" was a old CB radio term "good buddy"

Thanks Warren - As many do on this site which is alert each other of "less than truthful" sellers. I was hoping that we would alert each other of the sellers that have been more than fair.
