So what is the proper color, or should I say sheen of black for all the black goodies in the engine bay? Is it gloss, or a touch off gloss and more a semi?
Expansion tank, brackets, etc.

Hi Paul.
The BON states, if I remember correctly, and for vin's in the B382 range that the radiator should be satin black, expansion tank was just listed Black along with the mounting straps. Maybe leeway on those as I have seen gloss black shrouds and expansion tanks. Heater valve mounting was just listed as Black also.
rack and pinion - Black
wiring harness holding clips -satin black
washer bottle carrier -listed as Tudor light blue
washer bottle carrier mounting bracket - black

If you have some of the LAT options such as chrome air filter covers then I believe the Oil filler cap was chrome along with
the dip stick handle and expansion tank filler cap.
engine blocks were ford blue at this point
earlier were black.

Other than the engine blocks I think earlier were very close to the same.
Maybe others can chime in on some stuff or correct me too.

Hope this helps some.

Well then

What is a good rattle can color for Tudor Blue. Chrome AC air filter housing top only with different part number then 69024 . It is listed in one of the AC housing posting threads.

Not so fast Ol Blue

Usual caveat applies...

Have a black bottle holder on 428. Yes still have bottle and all tubing / fittings.
