Engine side oil gauge line fitting

Hi All,
I'm putting in a new CAT Parts braided stainless oil pressure gauge line. Both of my cars came to me with aftermarket replacement lines. What is the thread of the fitting on the engine end? CAT hose doesn't fit standard tube compression 1/8" (which is what the aftermarket lines were) or 1/4" fittings. Too big for the 1/8", too small for the 1/4". Are they A/N? JIC? 3/16"?something English I've never heard of? Where do I get a fitting to connect the CAT line and screw into the 1/4" FPT hole in the block?

Bob- i used a fitting from a hyd and hose company locally in sac. it's a british fitting with a 1/4 pipe- part # bspp k4 connector --2fmk4s- I use the mustang standoff (4") to the block they have in stock $5. correct flare for the line
