I upgraded my intake and carb from the stock setup to the F4B intake manifold. I've installed the temperature sending unit directly into the manifold using the adapter found at O'Riley mentioned on previous threads. Looks great!
I am putting everything back together and realizing I have an additional wire from the old setup to the new one.
The old setup has an in-hose, 3 way adapter where the temp unit sat inside (with a wire connection to the top of the temp unit) and another wire attached to a screw on the side of the adapter. I am guessing this wire is a ground wire, but not sure.
The Sunbeam Workshop Manual is pretty cryptic on where this old wire comes from, whether it is still needed in a F4B setup, but if so where to connect it.
I would love some thoughts / direction on how others solved this.
