Five-bolt Ford 289 engine. Complete engine, came from a fellow Tiger owner; I rebuilt my Tiger's original 260 and this is surplus. Will fit 260 and early 289 applications with five-bolt bellhousing. Casting # C40E-6015C 4D4. Date stamp 4D9C, which I take to be April 9, 1964. Engine is complete with block, internals, heads, crank, four-barrel Ford manifold. No pushrods, though I could dig some up. Pistons are .030" over. Guy I got it from didn't run it either, so consider it for rebuild. $500 or offer. Shipping probably not feasible but happy to discuss. In Berkeley, CA, could take to LA on my next trip.
