My body shop man has told me the valance I supplied requires a lot of work and it would be better to source a better one. Vic British advertise one, any knowledge about the fit etc ? Or maybe another source?

It takes a 12-hour Guru effort plus ice cream & coffee to duplicate the factory shapes. Add your mini tunnel and oil cooler brackets to the mix plus protective shipping. Scary $$$$ amount anyway you cut it. If you can find a desert donor car, it's a huge win!
PS: The Vic Brit version is a bit boxy looking . . . .

I just talked to a very knowledgeable Tiger guy the purchased one from VB when they were have a "sale" last winter. He was VERY happy with it. Just sayin.

Ps: he purchased it after seeing one being installed and asked where they got it.

VB may change suppliers.. so i guess it depends where they are sourcing them now.

I know i have a VB one on the front of my MKIA, its not bad.. nbut as randy suggests its not 100% on the money for profile as it rolls under... but better than not running one at all! Oh and the captive nuts for the plate bracket were not original size.

valance

I have one from VB in the parts building that the old guy refused to use. it's four or five years old. it's a heavier metal with no give and did not fit the Canadian made valance top that he was putting on my car. it seemed to have a different contour at the wheel well area. the ones they're selling now may be different. this one has no captive nuts for the license.

I bought some metal panels from VB, after a 6 month back order and several calls I finally got my panels , worst fitting POS I ever had , i was put in touch with the stamper in the UK who told me to .." beat them with a hammer , fill the rest and Bobs your Uncle " ....

Obviously the low bidder DeJour .....Hopefully you won't get that guy !

Now I am worried, placed an order with VB and they took my money and then showed the item on back order. Because I am in Aussie it is annoying having to ring them for any contact. If they say it will take months, I will demand a refund. Still hope for the best.
Thanks for the comments.

Thanks Duke, still have some concern when companies in this century do not have contact information on their web site. except for a phone number.
I fully expect to call and be on hold, delayed for a time while the toll charges expand. Would be a lot better if they had a email address.

Normally the don't charge your card until the item ships.
