Fuel Pump Bracket finish

Can someone with an unmolested original car (MK 1 or 1a) tell me what the original finish is on the fuel pump bracket? Mine was too rusted to tell. Although the finish inside looks like it might have been cad plated.

Just look in the BON, "Here comes the Judge".

Could not find it either but the pics look like they are black. Not much if anything was CAD plated.

Black it will be. I blasted and put it in the "black box".
