Hi - I'm interested in Mk1 and Mk1a generator bracket number(s) - can anyone post photos or at least the numbers?

I have one marked 10039 - B with the bar a long H and also a triangle 2 with a bar under the triangle.

Is this correct for a Mk1a?

Thanks in advance,

Allan Ballard

Hi Allan,

My car has a Jensen date of 2/66 (VIN 382001397) and my bracket has the same markings other than a 1 next to the triangle instead of a 2. This could be because they used multiple molds numbered 1, 2, etc.

Hi Jon,

Thanks for the reply - hopefully that's a confirmation.

Also while reading through a copy of C.A.T. Shop Notes I noticed a mid-90s article by Dan Walters - Generators and Pulleys.

Dan stated that the generator bracket number is C4JZ-10039-A up to B9471618 (1964nJ=Industrial Engines) or C4JZ010039-B from B9471619 (1964 J=Industrial Engines).

The pulley number is listed as C202-10130-A Pulley, Single Sheave (1962, O=Fairlane part).

An adjusting arm (????) part number is listed as C4Z-10145-A (1964 J=Industrial Engines).

The parts number for the generator itself is shown to be C1TZ-10002-A Dynamo (1961 T=truck part)

I hope this is helpful.

If anyone has a correct pulley that they would part with, please pm me or send an email.

Mine is definitely wrong.

Thanks in advance,
