FYI to all: I have seen some Girling brake boosters from other rebuilders recently that DO NOT make power boost. Careful exam shows that the valve bodies have been nicely relined in brass, BUT, the entrance to the new bores DOES NOT have the factory required taper machined in them. The direct result is that the new "lip" seals when installed are either torn or, in the case of the power seal, actually flipped backwards. This allows fluids to leak past the seals instead of making boost. This is being done by a popular hydraulic company who have been notified of the problem but have not corrected their relining process. For those of you who do their own thing, this is something to pay close attention to.
