Hardtop Rubber.

I am having a little problem with the rubber gaskets over the windows on the hardtop. The slot for the window to slide into keeps collapsing and the window, when rolled up, just doesn't go neatly into the groove. Rubber usually ends up folded under the window edge. What can be done to fix this ?????

hard to judge without a picture. Normally the window should not crumble up the Hardtop rubber. Actually they even don´t require any adhesive to stay in place. Are you sure nothing wrong with your window position/guidance ? Are you using correctly shaped rubber ?

Yep, I think all is right except the result. The longer side of the gasket tends to curl a bit and when the window is rolled up. it ends up under the glass instead of over the glass ??

still believe you installed them correctly but just to make sure the longer lip always has to be on the outside of the window...

That's the way they are but that longer piece wants to fold under. I have actually pulled the rubber onto the window in the correct position and left the windows up for a couple of weeks to see if they would mold to the proper position. When I rolled them down and then back up the outter edge rolled under again. They were on the hardtop when I bought it so I am taking them off and ordering a new set from Rick. Hope it makes some difference.
