Can anyone tell me if there is a different bracket (from the one that attaches the soft top) that fits to the B pillar in order to fit the hard top. If so can anyone put up a photo of the part?I have only just figured there were mounting holes in the front of the trunk hinge!. Can the soft top be left in place with the hardtop on.

No, the soft top must be down to mount the hardtop. They both use the same space, use the same front latching points, and the soft top would be in the way of the center hardtop latches. You can reference the following link to get to the Alpine Parts manual on line at:

Poke around that site and you caan download all parts, shop and owners manuals. I can send a picture of the latch you will need.

Hi John, thankyou for the info. I took one of the B pillar latches off the hardtop, and fitted it to the existing plate on the car. Very simple. As the car I have was in a lot of pieces when I got it,I wasnt sure if I was missing something.
