Headlites

I found a set of Lucas headlights on eBay UK if you are lucky you can find them on period Jensen Healy's as well.

The ones on my 96,000 mile car TMK work along with everything else.
* True Mileage Known or as true as a Smiths speedometer can register.

Lucas 7" sealed beam. No intergrated parkign lamps. And yes they do hogh and low beam.
Still lots of NOS ones around and you can get repro from places like moss

That said... Really worth replacing with halogen lights .. But can be hard to find ones with an appropriately domed glass to look correct

This car has a set of original Lucas sealed beam head lamps. These lamps are also handed with different inside fluting for a right hand drive car. I have an original LHD set in the wife's series 5 Alpine. As Michael said there are sources for the lamps.

12 searched pages on Moss no Lucas headlights.
I had heard they were not available for some time.

Important to note that these are not sealed beam headlights these are reproductions that have a stuff in bulb at the back.
My guess is if you're going to pay $55 English pounds plus shipping you're going to want the real deal..
Although it is real nice to have super bright headlights :)

If you can attend any of the import swap meets you'll usually find someone selling the lamps. I've bought quite a few of the Lucas sealed beam lamps at the Carlisle Import.

Warren,
FYI, the cost to replace a head lamp bulb in my Malibu is in excess of $100.00 so the cost of the lamps you mention is right in line.
