Every house on the block had one of these Christmas candles back in the 60's and 70's in Westchester...

Where did you live back then? Our candles were hand made by someone who lived in Westchester. There were a couple of styles available...

Hey that is Crazy Paul! Is that Mt. Tremblant?
I'll be there skiing soon but not in the Tiger as it's hibernating on its rotisserie beside my wife's Miata. Must be a delicate dance on the gas peddle to keep her straight in those conditions :)

Delicate dance AND electrical starvation

I remember driving through the Sierras on I-80 with the family in the Tiger. It was a cold and snowy evening and there was an accident ahead so traffic just creeped. The generator couldn't keep up with the load of lights, heater blower, wipers, and radio at the low speed. Had to try to keep RPM up enough to generate enough electricity. Updates going into the new engine compartment definitely include a small alternator.
