Help please ;-) (B9471731) How do you remove the TIGER logo from the front fenders? There isn't access from the rear. Also are there any 'tricks' to remove the side trim?
The Tiger script is held into the body by little metal sprung clips (or should be) there are pins on the rear of the script that go into the clips to hold it. You should be able to remove it by sliding something behind the script and gently prying it off.. (plastic putty knife gets a good review) same goes for the side trims (though they are held by clipping onto protruding riverts if original, plastic clips if repro.. the original riverts seem to hold the trims closer to the body than the rerpo plastic clips.
Be patient and careful .. there is a tip on the TEAE techincal section on their website.
If you are afraid of scratching the paint try sliding dental floss behind the name plate--slide it towards the middle of the word until it stops and hits the pin, then gently pull away from the body. You will have to do this from the "T" and "R" sides.
