Ok guys.....Over the years, I've removed and reinstalled most parts of my Tiger. The other day I found this aluminum ID Tag in my tool box drawer. At first, I thought it was my transmission tag but it's not even close to the photos I see online.....so, any idea what part of the car it's from (or) is it not even a Tiger part? (on the left end is a hole for a single-bolt attachment)

That looks very much like the tag that goes on the inlet manifold.

Unfortunately, I can't remember which bolt it's supposed to sit under.

I agree on the right side but it's a later non Tiger maybe 1972 tag.

ID Tag - Pinto!!!

Thanks to the responders.....mystery solved!!!

Your info was spot on. The only 1972 Ford I've (my wife's) ever owned was a '72 Pinto with the 2.0 Liter German motor. So, as the tag shows "72" as the year and "122" as the displacement, I must have inadvertently left the tag off when changing the timing belt as that's the only thing ever to go bad on that admittedly very reliable vehicle.....

Thanks again, Todd

ps: I'm still laughing
