Thinking of changing my intake manifold to a shorter version so my hood will close. Question is can it be changed with engine in the car and do valve covers have to be removed to change the intake?
Thanks,

Mark, it's been awhile since I put an intake manifold on a Tiger, but I've done a few, and I don't ever remember having to remove the valve covers and never the engine...it's pretty straight forward.

In looking at it, it appeared that it could be done and without removing the valve covers. One of the instruction sheets from Edelbrock mentioned removing covers, but must have been for a different animal.
