Anyone use the carpet and vinyl trim kits from Alpine West Midlands in the UK? They claim to have the correct GT door panels and can make them in red. Rick at SS said he could no longer provide the GT panels with the welded pleats. I bought the panels from him hoping to save the skins but they are too far gone.

Also thinking about buying the carpet kit they have in red. I would like to do it all local (So Cal) if anyone has a good recommendation. Outside of the GT door panels and rear tray pad which I have I am sure someone has a good referral. I took care of the seats when I got the car (see before and after photos). These are not recovered rather repaired and sprayed. I was going to recover them but they turned out really nice and I wanted to leave them original.

In English they are door cards:)

I had used the vinyl color in the past too. Did you find a dye product or was it rattle can? It looks great. I hope yours sticks better. I think joining the UK Tiger site and asking there will help you as well. There are several guys that populate our membership.

Oh, PS Distinctive industries is a leading mfg of carpets etc in So. Cal. but you have to be a trim shop to buy from them as they are wholesale only.

Unfortunately no experience with West Midlands GT doorcards. Not to demotivate you but your very nice condition rear tray pad is from an early series Alpine. The tiger one has wider pleats ...

My experience of AWM is that Ricks kits are far superior and you are better sticking with them.

Rick may be able to get the correct doorcards in the future?
