Jig Dimensions

I am building a jig to support my MK1 while substantial sheet metal repairs are performed. The frame dimension diagram in the Body section of the shop manual is very informative, but appears to lack one critical dimension.

Does anyone know the distance from the rear spring attachment holes to either the front or rear mounting bolt holes on the crossmember? This should be referenced on the datum line. Unless I'm missing something obvious I can't figure out how to calculate the distance from the information on the diagram.

Thanks!

I just measured it with a tape at 68 and 1/2 inches. Allowing for a slight bend in the tape as the rear spring hanges are lower than the holes for the cross member. My Tiger is on a rotisseri at the moment.

Steven,

Thanks! I thought about doing that measurment on my Tiger, but not knowing if it has sagged, or how much I wasn't sure that was the right number. I'm trying to place the attachment points on the jig so when I place the shell on the jig I'll have a reasonable idea if the shell is torqued in any direction.
