You get extra points if you KNOW what those LAT numbers ARE?

They are Fender flares.

Does anyone have them?

Do tell.

BTW, I'm not sure where is the best place for this thread.

I think you've earned the right to post where ever you want to Dan. . . . .just sayin'

We have searchable topics or you can narrow them down. Could easily go in stock like any other LAT options.

There's one local car that's said to have these flares fitted. They are certainly great looking with 205/60/13 size rubber.

It's the shade of grey that says LAT option can be stock, certainly I can agree with you Dan, but I'm just the librarian.

DW are you trying to get documents to be able to run the optional LAT fibreglass front and rear fender flares in historic racing?

Maybe 10 years back a member posted photos of a some NOS ones they had.. And a while later some appeared on ebay.

The flares are documented in the Works Tiger book iirc... And in the BON as coppies of the scca homologation docs...iirc photos of white flares ona dark car.

I think they were only eligible while the Tiger was in BP.. And were outlawed when it went to CP?

Michael, I'm just trying to get information about little known LAT parts.

There was a Time when CAT sold REPO LAT flares.

I just want to dig up any info I can about them, Originals AND Repos .

As far as VR, I don't know of ANY groups that care much about mild flares, by them selves.

But Flares are usually there to cover bigger Wheels, and THAT (The wheels) gets the attention of the VR groups, Flares or not.

The cat or posting got stuck in the moderation bag as it was worded like a solicitation.
The molds had dust from storage and were cast offs from the old CAT downsizing move decades ago preserved by DW. The three of us were looking at the fiberglass projects a couple of weeks ago and planning others.

Back in the day, you could say there was Negative interest in LAT Flares,

So much so that the decision was made to trash the molds.

When you have to PAY for storage, some things are not worth it...

I kept them, not having much interest in them, BUT not knowing much about them either.

Back then, they looked a 100 years old and as far as anyone knew, they could have been original molds,

But still ZERO interest in keeping them.

BTW, CAT ALSO had molds for an LAT Hood as well...at one time...
