Lemans Coupe to sell

Another excuse to go again

Had been mulling it over, but I do need to make my way back down to AZ around that time anyway... I did not make it to RM last year, but this should make me do it.

It's a shame when one can be in awe of such a beautiful car, and then picture #18 comes around... hahaha.... had this been in another sunbeam... fireworks...

The good news is that there looks like there is now a 1964 available for Doug! :D

thanks for sharing.

Thanks for thinking about me but this car was built on Jan 21st 1965. I was all over it till I opened my friends (loaned) BON. Almost put a for sale sign on my GT350

I was invited to BJ auction in January and now I might go. I get a free VIP pass.

Cheers and keep those eyes open for a 1964.

Oops... I must have had this window open and transversed them... Of course, "Preis auf Anfrage" = Price on inquiry

1964 Coupe also avail

Its amazing how wrong and how many things they made up in the "history" of the car.

I remember going for a ride in that car as soon as it made it's way to California in the early 80's -- Bill was a friend and neighbor. I helped get the car ready for it's debut at Pebble Beach after restoration, it sure looked good on the green. Sorry to say I was also there when Bill sold it at auction for way less than he expected, low 70's I think it was. Sure is a great looking little car.

I guess when you go for concourse at a pebble beach show (back in the day... now they look for originality in terms of finish and construction, not over restored) yoy had to ammend the drunken stamp rootes tags.... wonder if they had to clean up all the tacky tiger factory welding?

OMG it has a replacement vin tag:eek: "What a nice collection of parts" "I wonder if the original tag comes with the car":D All kidding aside what a beauty.

Tag

Snipped of the UK Tiger Facebook page. So much for the possibility that your car can be seized and crushed if you mess with the tags:D
Hope they do not start with this one:eek:
